Good probe.
It is hard to distinguish if the axons in the larval ventral nerve cord are 'axons' or 'tracheal extensions
Sometimes one larval brain lobe reacts to the in situ hybridization and the other one does not - it may be that one of the reagents was not exposed properly - This in situ may have to be redone in larval brains for absolute confirmation.
